Friday's List: Thanksgiving Recipes Sure to Impress

Oct 10, 2014

The long weekend is here!!!! My excitement cannot be contained! For several reasons actually, one: I love turkey dinner....love love love, two: long weekend means lots of time for projects and progress, three: I've planned some well needed catch up time with my girl friends and four: turkey dinner leftovers of course.

This week's list is a compilation of tried and true recipes that should help you put together a very impressive Thanksgiving Dinner. Last year was the first time I hosted Thanksgiving Dinner, making all the dishes myself. I chose some alternative takes on traditional recipes but everything went over perfectly so I'm sharing these recipes with you.

Thanksgiving Dinner Menu:

Roasted Sweet Potatoes & Sage - a tastebud tantalizing combination
Roasted Carrots - secret tip: drizzle with honey before serving
Farmhouse Herbed Stuffing - you'll never go back to traditional dressing after trying this
Slow-Roasted Green Beans with Sage - starting to see a pattern here yet?
Perfect Roast Turkey - I wouldn't trust anyone other than Gordon Ramsay for a mouth watering turkey...
Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce - whole berry or no berry I say
Pumpkin Pie - the piece de resistance

Good luck to all of those who are cooking this weekend and let's not forget to give thanks for all the things in life that help get us out of bed every morning and keep us going throughout the day!

Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
