Shop the Look | Scandi-Inspired Master Bath

Apr 5, 2016

In one of my previous posts just a few weeks ago, I shared our master bath reveal. Although it was a while ago I wanted to officially say thanks so much for all of your great feedback on that post! The positive feedback and comments are so much appreciated! We are still immensely enjoying this space; I indulge in bubble baths and getting ready every morning feels like I'm doing so at a spa (...well almost!).
If you are also interested in recreating the look and feel of our master bath then you're in luck. Today I'm sharing options, either identical or similar, to the items we used in our master bath reno.

With this list you'll be on your way to a spa like sanctuary in no time. And believe me, you don't need to reno your space to create a new look or feel that you love. Check out the list below then keep reading for some simple tips to revamp your bathroom without the complete gut job!

As promised, here is a short simple list of changes you can make in a weekend to help transform your bathroom into a spa-like oasis.

Revamp Your Bath!

Paint

I can't say it enough, the cheapest and easiest way to add major impact with minimal effort is a fresh coat of paint. For extra pizzaz try an accent wall, a painted ceiling or painted trim.

Lighting

Bright lights in the bathroom are definitely not conducive to a relaxing spa-like feel, switch out existing lighting for something a little glam or maybe more rustic. Whatever your preferences are, there's no need to settle for the standard builder grade lighting. Box stores have tons of great options or check out Etsy for some unique handmade or vintage options.

Accessories

Add some wow factor to your bathroom using accessories. I personally love having plants in the bathroom - set them on a shelf or hang them from a hook in the ceiling. Other options include artwork, candles, an interesting hook (like the one above), a patterned shower curtain or rug.

And there you have it, a shopping guide and some tips to achieving a spa-like master-bath. Good luck with your bathroom transformations!
